Practitioner profile for Tracy Morrison

Tracy graduated from RMIT University with a Bachelor of Applied Science (Complementary Medicine) and a Masters of Osteopathy. Prior to this, she completed an Advanced Diploma in Myotherapy at RMIT University and has worked as a Myotherapist at various locations across Melbourne.

Throughout her studies, Tracy was employed by RMIT University, where she tutored in anatomy and neuroanatomy to undergraduate Osteopathic, Chiropractic, Chinese Medicine and Biomedical Science students. This opportunity has developed Tracy's passion for diagnosis and management of musculoskeletal conditions. Tracy loves studying and is commencing her PhD with Gippsland Medical School, Monash University in 2010. She intends to be involved in Osteopathic research projects in the future.

Tracy is passionate about her profession. She thoroughly enjoys treating a broad cross-section of the community, using a wide range of osteopathic techniques. She has a particular interest in the treatment of headaches and chronic musculoskeletal complaints.

Tracy's greatest achievement was the completion of her first marathon in 2006. Her weekly schedule now involves many hours of running and cross training and she runs two marathons a year. Her next goal is to complete a half iron man and an ultra marathon. Tracy also teaches cycle classes at two local gyms.

Tracy's family and friends are very important to her and much of her spare time is spent with them. When time allows, she enjoys travelling and often visits her two sisters who both live interstate. When in Melbourne, Tracy can be found dancing not too far from a booming speaker playing trance music!
