Practitioner Profile for Fiona Kern

Fiona graduated from RMIT University with a Bachelor of Applied Science (Complementary medicine - Osteopathy) followed by a Master’s degree in Osteopathy. Her thesis focused on the manual treatment used by women to relieve the symptoms experienced throughout pregnancy such as low back and pelvic pain, nausea, vomiting and heartburn.

Fiona also completed 2 years of a degree in Bachelor of Exercise and Sports Science from Deakin University before moving onto Osteopathy and spent 3 years as a sports trainer at Banyule Football Club.

She is enthusiastic and passionate about Osteopathy, taking pride in dealing with what is a person’s greatest asset, their health!

Fiona uses a wide range of Osteopathic techniques to treat a variety of musculoskeletal complaints ranging from headaches/migraines, arthritis, sciatica, sporting injuries and of course pregnancy related symptoms.

Originally a country girl from Mildura, Fiona enjoys an active life having competed nationally in Athletics for several years. She loves to dance, and enjoys other activities such as football, cricket and gym work.
