Practitioner Profile for Emily Woollett

Emily studied Osteopathy at Victoria University graduating with a Bachelor of Applied Science (Clinical Science) and a Masters in Osteopathy in 2003. She has been working at the Canterbury Road Health Clinic since then and loves the diversity of people and variety of problems she treats – to date the youngest patient Emily has treated is 6 weeks old and the oldest 98! Emily takes a special interest in treating pregnant women, babies and children.
Emily believes that Osteopathy provides a unique perspective on treating the musculoskeletal complaints that affect people of all ages in their day to day lives, from sporting injuries to problems associated with working at a desk and general ‘wear and tear’. She enjoys utilising a wide variety of techniques in her practice including Cranial Osteopathy, a gentle form of treatment that is effective for many people and by incorporating a range of techniques Emily is able to tailor treatment to each individual.
Emily’s personal interests include yoga, walking, swimming, volunteering and cooking for friends and family.
