Practitioner profile for Daniel Stasiuk

Daniel graduated from Victoria University with a Bachelor of Science (Clinical Science) and a Masters in Health Science (Osteopathy) in 2005. His thesis focused on the effects of osteopathic treatment on irritable bowel syndrome.
He has worked in numerous clinics in Melbourne, Launceston and Canada. Whilst in Toronto he had an opportunity to work alongside sports medicine specialists and an orthopaedic surgeon. He has also been involved at Victoria University as a supervising clinician for the student osteopathic clinic.
Daniel has a special interest in rehabilitation, sports injuries, migraines/headaches and jaw related problems. He loves the challenge of treating a wide range of musculoskeletal complaints and gains immense amount of satisfaction from helping patients improve. He has also recently completed his diploma in acupuncture.
Daniel has been very competitive with his sports over the years. These have included running, triathlons, downhill skiing, soccer, ice hockey and figure skating. He has run the Ottawa marathon and qualified for the Boston marathon. Daniel is also a qualified ski instructor and tries to take every opportunity to go to the snow. In his spare time he also enjoys playing golf and tennis, and is an avid Hawthorn supporter.
